Appeal for witnesses following serious assault in Abergele

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Abergele in the early hours of this morning.

At around 2:20hrs this morning, Sunday 8th November, a 42 year old man was seriously assaulted by a group of five males believed to in their late teens/ early twenties outside the electric shop on Bridge Street, Abergele.

The man suffered severe head injuries and was transferred to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, where his condition is believed to be serious but not life threatening.
